Feature: Comments can now be upvoted

One of the biggest ‘comment systems’ we use outside ReplyBox is YouTube comments. It has huge interactions levels and the content creators are always asking for their community to feedback in the comment system. What we’ve always valued as such a great feature, is the ability to like a comment, sometimes it’s not required to leave a comment but you want to leave your feedback as a member of the community without adding noise to the conversation.

Ever since taking over ReplyBox we’ve wanted to get this feature shipped, it’s taken a while but we are glad to see it launched. 

We did a little poll at the end of last year asking on how we should implement this and we got the top results as upvotes and we feel this is best too, we listened to you and that is what we launched.

Whist building it we also had to stick to our values of privacy-first comments and have built the upvotes to be anonymous, you’re simply agreeing with a comment but no one will ever know who likes that except yourself.
